Ada and Miranda like to paint. They also like shoes.  So they paint on shoes. Then they coat them. So they’re waterproof, in case you’re wondering.

Once, they tried to sand a pair with sandpaper.  You know, just to see what would happen.  And the paint lasted fine with light sandpapering.  But if you happen to walk into a sharp corner wearing our shoes, not only might you get a broken toe, but some of the paint on the shoes will chip off too.  So if you enjoy walking into sharp things, you probably wouldn’t want to be wearing our shoes.  Unless, of course, you like chipped paint.

About our Shoes

Each pair of Cocopunkz is hand painted with oil based paint and then coated with a protective finish. The artwork is water resistant and will not be ruined by the rain.

Cocopunkz: Once on vacation, I heard a woman remark to her husband, “What’s the point of having time, if we’re not going to waste it?” to which I thought of the retort “What’s the point of having time, if you’re not going to use it?”  It’s too sides of the same coin.  Use it?  Waste it?  Your choice.   Tick Tock. Tick Tock.

In celebration of our store launch, four pairs of mystery shoes will be posted at 20% off our regular price (WOW) sometime within the next three weeks! They will range in price but the most expensive pair will be $216 (20% off 270). Keep checking back to snatch them up before they’re gone!

Please note: If you buy these shoes while they’re still in “mystery mode” we will ship the pair of shoes we plan to launch according to our mystery shoe plan. Sizes have not been specified. So don’t buy them yet unless you plan to display these shoes, but not wear them.

Cocopunkz: Yellow is sunshine. Green is life. Purple is nobility. From these colors spout trees full of life and character.

Cocopunkz: In the late 1800’s and early 1900’s wealthy Chinese families bound their daughters’ feet into the shape of lotus petals because it was considered delicate and beautiful. The norms have changed, but how women present their feet remains an integral part of the measurement of beauty.
