Project Runway Season 6 Episode 1: Red Carpet Look

Ah finally after about a year and a half of waiting the reality T.V. show dubbed “Project Runway” is back on our screens for a 6th season. According to one website Lindsay Lohan (whom I dub “that ginger chick?!”) was introduced as a show co host and judge.

However, the show is now broadcast by a different network and filmed in sunny Los Angeles, California instead of the big apple… New York for those of you who aren’t up to date on the city’s nickname. Anyway, last night we got to meet the 16 new contestant’s that are going to be going head to head competing this season.

The first challenge they were faced with this season was to create a red carpet look that showed something about their emotions, feelings or views (one of the three). Reportedly in this season all designers will be completing their work at the Fashion Institute of Design Marketing.

The show originally began on the Bravo network and was hosted by famous German fashion model, Heidi Klum. The contestants of the show compete with each other to create the best clothes, usually in a restricted time frame and with restricted materials. For this season is has been transferred to the Lifetime network after NBC and Weinstein Co. settled a lawsuit.

However, Season 6 has already been filmed so everything you’ll see happening has already happened (aww..).
