Casual or dressy? Flared or clingy? What’s in and what’s not? If you are wondering about what’s cool in 2009 and what’s not, here we are to help you with the varied styles of denim to suit your unique style:
Try some dark denim, it should make you look chic’. The corporate “you” will look savvy in some dark washed denim. Formal occasions just need a blazer and pumps while a simple peasant top teamed with sandals should be good for a casual date.
Flared Jeans are back! No, don’t confuse them with the wide leg jeans. These are fitted jeans which flare up from knee down. If you love Bohemian, then these jeans can be teamed up with a fringed handbag and a couple of wedges. Want a relaxed look? Then team up a pair of Boyfriend Jeans with a great belt and a romantic looking flowery printed top. You can roll up the cuffs and wear some good looking boots.
If you thought there is a dearth of colors where jeans are concerned, then you haven’t looked at the colored jeans yet! Grey and khaki skinny jeans are the flavor of the year! Don’t let the word “skinny” get you down! These are more relaxed versions which will look good on all figure types!
The torn look is back! Sexy, torn denim was the flavor of the 90s. If you do not like too many cuts and tears you can simply wear a gently worn jeans with some frayed edges! You can create your own look by mixing and matching these styles. A word of caution here; no matter what you do, make sure that your jeans fit well. The last thing you want to do is appear in jeans which look borrowed! Hemming is a must!

Bought a pair of these for my partner. She couldn’t believe how cheap i picked them up for! The jeans at the bottom of the page i picked up for myself. Also really good! Might have to get a second pair!!
